I need three things.

First of all, I need DSL, and I'm wondering how long until its going to be available in my area. Cause I want high-speed internet action, oh yeah!!.

Second of all, I need sleep. Because sleep has the tendency to solve many of your problems.

Finally, I need Sunshine, cause hey, we all need Sunshine.

I kinda feel like a jerk. Through being kinda persistant in asking (even though I promised that I would let the issue drop), I got a friend to tell me a secret, which they didn't want to tell me. And, well, they say they don't really care that I know it, but I just feel that I should have been a better friend. Oh well, whats done is done.

Well, on to other matters. I haven't talked much about the Red Sox after their loss to the Yankees. I could use this space here to complain about the curse, or Grady Little, or whatever, but I won't. I've learned that if you want to get through life, you've got to concentrate on the positive. I really thought that we had something specail, that this would be the one, that this time it was going to happen. It didn't. It wasn't meant to be. But that doesn't mean that I didn't have lots of fun though, and it doesn't mean that I won't remember Trot Nixon's grand slam at Philadelphia, or Jonny Damon's three hits in one inning, or Bill Mueller's two grand slam game, or the heroic game 6 come from behind victory in game 6 of the ALCS, or what was perhaps the greatest block of the plate ever, courtesy of Jason Varitek, in a playoff game facing elimination. Or Derek Lowe's relief appearance in game 5 of the ALDS. Well, I guess what I'm saying is that you've got to look at what you've got, not at what you miss. Sure, nobody can walk away from a painful defeat without feeling bad for a while, and I did. But, you've got to carry on, put your best foot forward, and know that not only do you have memory's, you've got next year too.

There is a Tiny Toons cartoon, where Buster Bunny is in an Indiana Jones spoof, trying to find the meaning of life. I don't remember much about it, but when he finds it, he finds out that the secret to life is in fact your friends.

I think they might just have nailed it on the head. To make a long story short, I spent the night watching Dr Strangelove with Seth and Luke, and they're about two of the best guys you'll find anywhere. I love you guys!! And btw, it was a hilarious and brilliant movie. I especially liked the part where (SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!!!) after the world was about to be destroyed, all the military guys started to talk about providing nuclear capabilities to their bomb shelters, so the Soviets don't attack the last remaining pieces of American humanity. But it was a simply great movie, and it was a piece of genius making it a comedy. Anyway, off to bed, I work tomorrow.!!!

Well, since I last updated, the Red Sox (or perhaps more accurately, Grady Little) lost game 7. And I suppose that everybody wants to fire Mr. Little. My thoughts on the subject are as follows. He lost the biggest game in Sox history since 1986. And I don't think he's a very good in game manager. But something happened that got all the players to give 110%. They all cowboyed up. Bill Mueller, Trot Nixon, Jason Varitek, and David Ortiz all had thier best years by far. Now, I really don't know how much Little had to do with it. But a word to Theo, Larry et al, figure out what the heck did cause the team to gel and "cowboy up" before you decide on Grady's contract.

As for whats going on in my life, not a whole lot. Trying to do something, but I haven't really done anything in a while. All my friends seem to be really really busy. But I hope to have fun real soon. Anyways, I'm off to bed now, see you all later!!

I learned today that Fred Merkle played for the Cubs for a few years, I never knew that. I guess it kinda kills my whole "spirit of Fred Merkly tormenting the cubs" theory. But something's tormenting the cubs.

Anyway, I think the Red Sox (or as I like to call them, the Scarlet Stockings, (hmm, I probably shouldn't tell anyone about that, good thing nobody reads my blog)) are going to win tomorrow. And no matter what happens in the World Series, this is shaping up to be perhaps the best baseball postseason in recent memory.

Luke, you owe me $10. That is all, for now.

I apologize for not updating on a more regular basis.

First of all, how about them red sox. Go Sox. Anyway, I think that Pedro is better than Zito, especially on three days rest. The two problems I see are the fact that Zito is left hander, so we might not have Walker and Nixon in the lineup. And that the sox aren't as good a team on the road. But I think they can definately pull it out.
