The inspiration for yesterday's riddle of the day:

Today's riddle of the day...

There are, in a crypt, two doors. One leads to immeasurable treasure, one leads to instant death. You do not know which is which.

Outside these two doors, there is a coffin with a skeleton inside. He can only answer questions in a yes/no fashion, knocking once or twice. The problem is you don't know whether one knock means yes or no. The skeleton is incapable of lying, and will always answer the question if he is able to do so.

He can only answer one question, before he dies completely, and becomes inanimate. How can you determine which door the treasure is behind by only asking the skeleton one question.

(ok, logical formalities: The skeleton knows which door the treasure is behind. The skeleton cannot answer a question or command which is not asked in a yes/no format).

So, the large hadron collider was foiled again, this time by a bird.

How many times does something like this have to happen before we start taking seriously the idea that the universe is sending back particles in time to prevent the LHC from activating?
