October 18 is way too early for snow.
Seriously.

I was at the store the other day, buying clothes for work. And I saw his purple shirt that I thought looked good - so I bought it and wore it yesterday.
I had like twelve people (okay, that might be a slight exaggeration) comment on my shirt, including one good friend say that she thought it was making me happy (or was evidence that i was happy or something), and this was my friend who's into fashion!
Anyway, moral of the story, buy a purple shirt.

I hit my first runners high today. After about 5 miles or so, I just went into tunnel vision, and started running about as fast as I could (not sprinting, but a notch below that), and ran at that speed for a mile and a half or so.
Usually, after running, I feel like I've had my ass kicked. Today, I felt like I kicked ass.

I took a somewhat unusual move the other day, and decided to buy the "Rosetta Stone" software for Arabic (which, for some reason, I always want to call, "Pandora's Box").
It's pretty simple, they just show you pictures, and you have to either choose the right picture for a caption, or the right caption for a picture, or finish a sentence relating to the picture or something.
So for instance, they will show you a picture of an apple, and call it ach-maroo (which, as there is absolutely no translation in Rosetta Stone, I have no idea is spelled correctly), and then show you a picture of a coke can and call it ach-maroo, and then show you a school bus, a firetruck, and a blade of grass, and ask you which is ach-maroo.
Anyway, I've only being doing it for like two weeks, and have only a few issues with it. The first one is that I think that it spends too much time with Grammar, and not enough with Vocabulary, as it is very hard to learn the grammar involved with something if it is not perfectly clear what all the key words are.
Anyway, I'll give you guys a better estimate of whether or not it actually works after a little more time has passed.
