Worthless and Weak

My goal yesterday was to run 5 miles. I ran 7.3. I definitely feel like I'm in really good shape now, as I'm not even feeling it a little today. So suddenly, my goal of running 12 miles by the end of the summer doesn't just look doable, its looks (almost) easy.

My old alarm clock, that I've had since who knows when (probably since at least high school), was pretty much on its last legs. I had to put my body-weight into pushing the snooze button in order for it to work, and that would somehow change the radio station. So, this weekend, I got a new one, with a digital tuner and everything. And, inside the box, with the instructions, was (as one would expect) a small flier advertising something, in this case audio books. Now, the vast majority of these books were what you would expect, the latest Dan Brown or Stephen King novel, I think "The Secret" was one of them, and so on. But one was a Curious George book. Is there something I'm missing, why would anyone want a Curious George book on audio? Isn't the point that YOU read the book to your kid?
