Worthless and Weak

You're all worthless and weak!

So, today during class, my professor was talking about how sometimes investments yield lower, ummm, yields than you would expect them to. For instance, he says that public projects built in corrupt countries are very inefficient. He lists sub-saharan countries as examples, then mentions southern Italy, as it has a large mafia influence. Now, he also has a tendency to say a sentence, and then expect the students to finish it. For instance talking about construction projects in Southern Italy, he said, "Now, it won't do the Italians any good if they build roads, but the roads go-" and then expects the students to say "nowhere."

Anyway, so, one of his sentences was, "They will build really nice beautiful ports, but it won't do them any good if the ports are-" and the word he was looking for was "empty." But one kid in the front shouted out, "landlocked." I thought it was hilarious. Anyway, goodnight.
